Members Free Training Day?

Free Members Training Days………what are your thoughts ?

Dear HDRC members,

We are looking into holding some members days throughout the year.

This would involve a good get together with your horses and getting free training.

To qualify per training day you must have completed 2 half day helps.

So the questions are…..

What type of training do you want?  Would have to be arena based.

Which coaches do you want?

Where do you think would be a good venue?

It obviously has to be good value for the club, so no really expensive coaches! Not sure Ingrid Klimke would come!

If anyone has any fantastic facilities we can have cheaply or free please let me know! But probably need min of two arenas one being big enough to jump in.

This is just about testing the water, as these things take much time and effort to organise, so bear with me.

If you want to be involved start getting your helps in !

2019 EGM

Monday 9th September

Mount Pleasant Farm
Parish Lane
Pease Pottage
RH10 5NY
at 7.30pm

All members are invited to an EGM to vote on the change of members year to run from 1st January to 31st December.

This change is being bought about following a BRC Advisory Meeting and BRC HQ wanting the membership year to run in line with the BRC financial year. BRC want every club to run in line with HQ which makes for a smoother and more efficient way of working, not only for accounting and insurance purposes but also for administration purposes. All clubs will have the same financial and membership year making BRC more clear and consistent throughout the whole of the membership.

The change to membership year means we need to change the constitution which can't be done without votes from members. If you agree to this change your current membership will extend to the end of 2019, giving you 3 months free extended membership.
If you aren't able to attend we can accept email votes -

Team Competitions - 2019

As a club we love to encourage members at all levels to take part in team competitions.

Dressage goes from Preliminary up to Advanced Medium, show jumping from 70cm to 110cm and horse trials from 80cm to 100+

The club pays half the entry fee at the qualifier. With the exception of horse trials we also enter non-qualifier teams if you want to take part but don't want to travel to a Championship. The team organiser will take care of all the entry forms and be there on the day to offer support and encouragement. All we ask in return is that you help or provide a helper for a few hours. It's a great way to meet new like minded people and hopefully have some fun.

For full details of whats involved and who to contact take a look at the 'Teams' page of the website.
