There seems to be a recurring theme this year with us entering teams then due to various issues they fall apart. Originally we had a strong team of Helen Millichamp, Katy Robertson, Emily Hamilton and Amelia Ward. Helen was the first to have to pull out as she had an injury and then her horse was injured too before the day. Not to worry we set off with a strong team of 3 who had all been in the team last year that came 3rd so still feeling positive.
The journey up took a lot longer than expected due to heavy traffic so only just made it in time for the course walk. When Katy arrived she checked her horse to discover he'd got a nasty injury on his stifle so needless to say after a vet check he was deemed not fit to compete which meant we were just down to two individuals.
Amelia flew round her her speedy pony Midnight Enigma but unfortunately had a couple of the show jumping phase fences down which put them out of the placings. Next was Emily Hamilton on her super reliable mare Antares Pandora but sadly it wasn't their day either having the joker fence down so just out of the placings.
