The only members from Horsham & District RC attending this Championship were Vicky Allan riding Razamataz(Lyric) and Jennifer Hickman riding Razmataz(Somni, who is Lyric's son) in the pairs class. Vicky and Lyric have successfully represented Horsham at many Championships but not for quite some time and it was a first for Jenny and Somni. Jenny was very nervous and not sure that Somni would cope with the atmosphere but the pair took it all in their stride and performed a lovely test to finish on a score of just over 69%.
Vicky and Jenny were fairly late to go in the class so it wasn't too long a wait to find out they'd come 5th! Well worth the long day finishing with the prize giving at 8.45pm getting home very late.
