Fantastic camp in October!

The stables & facilities were spectacular, I could of lost Nelly in her enormous box and from the frequent shavings in her mane & tail she was clearly very relaxed and happy with her 5* accommodation. The rider cabins were a pleasant surprise too, I wasn't sure what to expect but actually they were large, comfy and had their own shower and sink which was a massive bonus so were great value for money.

From the second we arrived we were greeted by friendly smiles and pointed in the right direction to get settled in. The communication was great, the food was excellent and plentiful and everyone was fun, friendly and up for enjoying a few drinks together in the evenings which was lovely.

The facilities at Hickstead were just fabulous and all of my lessons were informative, helpful and fun. I definitely came away feeling more confident and it was clear that Nelly thoroughly enjoyed herself, we even FINALLY got the guts to jump the boat in the eventing arena. The session from Liv @ Surrey Hills Veterinary physio was interesting & informative and the confidence coach on Saturday certainly gave us all lots to think about.

Most amazing of all, I came away with new friends from both my riding group and the others we met in the evenings and at the stables. Only the week after we did the teams Arena Eventing and have our own little 'training' group set up to meet up over the winter. As someone from a small yard who often trains and competes on my own I'm very grateful to have some new team mates.
