Ros Wells travelled up to Arena UK in Grantham to help our teams at the Novice Winter Championships as it was a first for many of them so some guidance and support was needed.
The senior dressage team consisted of Olivia Allan, Simone Hopkins, Beckii Davies and Katie Witherspoon with Phoebe Harvey-Mason as our only junior entry. The sun decided to shine for a beautiful day at a fantastic venue for all the BRC riders. Beckii came 4th in her arena with a really good score of 68% and Katie was also placed 9th in her arena on 69%. The team came 18th overall.
Phoebe also did well in the junior class coming 9th.
The show jumpers were Beckii again this time as an individual in the 70cm and a senior team in the 80cm of Grace Mallinder, Ross Cripps, Alan Murphy and Michelle Nash. They all had a great time with some super rounds! Beckii finished on just 4 faults from her 2 rounds and the team finished on 8 faults putting them in 10th place.
Phoebe was also jumping her lovely pony Cruz who just had a pole down in each round.
Well done everyone for doing the club proud!
A super weekend was had by all!
