The BRC NAF Five Star National Horse Trials Championships is a competition for both seniors and juniors, teams and individuals.

At the championships the HT100 and HT100+ take place over three days as a traditional long format competition. Dressage is completed on the first day; The roads and tracks and steeplechase phases are in addition to the cross country on the second day with the show jumping on the third and final day. The HT100+ is at the same height as the HT100 in the cross country phase, but with the show jumping at 110cm - this competition is open to both juniors and seniors who are able to compete in a mixed class.

The HT90 take place over two days, also with roads and tracks and steeplechase in addition to the cross country phase. Dressage and Show Jumping are completed on day one before they embark on the different phases on day two.

The HT80 classes are one-day events with no roads and tracks or steeplechase. Competitors ride their dressage, followed by the show jumping round and lastly they will tackle the cross country all in one day. Open HT80 is open for both senior and junior individual and will run over two days. Details can be found in the BRC handbook and schedule.

This year we have members qualified in the Senior 90, 100 and Juniors in the 90 and 80 classes and wish them all the very best of luck!
