Date: 6th October 2018

A rather wet day, ok not rather wet, a really soaking and misty day at Munstead for Area 10,11 & 13’s Festival of the Horse qualifiers for the Eventers Challenge and Combined Training.
First to go was the 100 Challenge team of Elise Gayler, Ruth Starey, and Becky Lloyd with two horses, Romeo and Kevin. They all jumped lovely rounds to win and qualify for the Championship at Aston next year. Well done ladies.

Next up was the senior Combined Training team of Jackie Oxley and Amy Sheen in the 100Q and 85cm jumping with Suzie Arlett and Louise Hamilton 90Q and 75cm jumping. The team placed 3rd.
Amy Sheen then had a wet run around the 90 Challenge for an individual 3rd place.
On to the biggest class of the day the 80 Challenge. Our team consisted of Jackie Oxley, Suzie Arlett and Becky Lloyd. Jackie came 3rd, Suzie 6th and the team placed 2nd.
A big shout out and thanks to our helpers without whom we could not compete, Jess Wilkinson and her mum for fence judging and for Dave Ware who must have been the wettest man in the field who came to the rescue of the rather snowed under starter and finisher! And to Carol Lloyd who fence judged with me.
Hope you all had a great day and dried out in the end.
